Creamy Tomato Gnocchi

Ingredients

  • 400ml tomato sauce
  • 200ml La Cooking
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp arrabbiata seasoning
  • 8-10 basil leaves (fresh)
  • 600g gnocchi (cooked)

Instructions

  1. Heat up 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and fry the pine nuts until they turn slightly golden, remove them and set aside in a bowl.
  2. Fry the garlic for 2-3 minutes and transfer the tomato sauce to the pan.
  3. Add the salt and pepper to the pan along with 1 tbsp olive oil. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Season with oregano, arrabbiata seasoning, 5-6 basil leaves and stir La Cooking into the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now transfer the cooked gnocchi to the pan and mix it in the creamy tomato sauce.
  6. Cook for 1-2 minutes and mix in some fried pine nuts. Tear the remaining basil leaves with your hands and add this to the pot while cooking.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and pine nuts, and enjoy!
