Swiss Style Vegan Spätlzi

Ingredients
- 300g vegan Spätzli (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 Mac’n’Sauce
- 1 onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 tbsp plant-based butter or oil
- Fresh chives or crispy onions for topping (optional)
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a frying pan, heat butter or oil over medium-low heat. Add sliced onions and cook slowly, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and sweet—about 10 minutes.
- Add the Spätzli to the pan with the caramelized onions. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are lightly browned and heated through.
- Lower the heat if needed. Add La Mac’n’Sauce to the pan and stir gently to coat the Spätzli evenly. Continue to cook until the sauce is warm and smooth.
- Plate it up, top with fresh chives or crispy onions, crack some black pepper over the top, and dive in.
